You can craft your own cocktails at this mixology class in Edmonton
Have you ever wanted to learn how to make a good cocktail? Well, this is your chance!
Alchemy Bar is continuing its cocktail-making class series, Cocktails 101, into the new year. Each month, the bar holds a class on one or two days, teaching guests the skills of mixology at this bar in the JW Marriott Edmonton ICE District.
With this class, you can take your cocktail-making skills to the next level.

In this hands-on workshop led by a seasoned mixologist, you’ll be shaking, stirring, and sipping your way to cocktail mastery. You’ll be crafting four paired cocktails, with bites curated by Alcehmy Bar’s Chef Allen, and you will be leaving with not only new skills, but a custom gift bag, the ultimate sendoff for every great bartender.
On Jan. 7 and 14, the theme is New Year, New Trends; Feb. 11 and 18 is all about Valentines; March 11 and 25 puts a focus on St. Patrick’s Day; and April 8’s lone date is for Spring Sips.
For $100, each cocktail class is from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. and can accommodate only 14 people. If you’re looking to book a class, now’s the time, as they tend to book up fast due to popularity.
