Edmonton forecast calls for pleasant, sunny weather all week long

The weather in Edmonton is forecast to be pleasant and sunny for the next seven days, making for a warm start of summer.

Environment Canada is calling for a high of 19°C on Thursday, with temperatures climbing through the week to eventually reach highs of 24°C by Wednesday, June 24.

Summer officially starts on June 21, and will be welcomed in Edmonton by sunny skies and a high of 22°C, according to Environment Canada.

The sunny forecast comes as many people are taking to the city’s parks and nature spots instead of indoor locations during the coronavirus pandemic.

The nights are also warming up, with lows of 14°C forecast for the first week of summer.
