A farmer-focused speed dating event is coming to Edmonton
Attention all farmers and country folk: it’s time to pull out your best belt buckle and dust off that bolo tie, because a speed dating event is coming to Edmonton next month for singles searching for their rural romance.
Find Your Farmer, a singles mixer hosted by Farmfair International in partnership with Date n’ Dash, will take place at the Edmonton Expo Centre on Friday, Nov. 6.
The event is open to singles between the ages of 20 and 60 who are interested in meeting new people, whether they grew up on a farm, live in a small town, or simply enjoy the country lifestyle.

Organizers say the evening will feature icebreaker activities and interactive social experiences designed to help attendees strike up conversations and make connections.
Singles will also be grouped by age, with organizers aiming to maintain a balance of men and women.

The event runs from 7 to 9:30 p.m., with doors opening at 6:30 p.m. Those attending are encouraged to arrive early to explore Farmfair International and the Country Christmas Marketplace ahead of the mixer.
Tickets cost $17.31, and advance registration is required. Last year’s event sold out, so those hoping to give country romance a shot may want to secure their spot early.
Find Your Farmer speed dating event takes place in Ballrooms 105 and 106 at the Edmonton Expo Centre, located at 7515 118th Ave. NW.
