Italian restaurant just outside Edmonton closing its doors in May

An Italian restaurant just outside of Edmonton is closing its doors, but fans of the establishment still have a couple of weeks left to enjoy one last meal.
In an Instagram post, Farina announced that it would be closing soon, with the last dinner service being on Friday, May 15. The only brunch service that the restaurant will have will be for Mother’s Day on May 10.
“I want to thank our customers and the community of Beaumont for your support over the last 2.5 years. It has been our pleasure to meet you and serve you. I would also like to thank my team for their hard work and dedication. This was my passion project, but not a viable business. But all of you made it a beautiful journey, thank you for being a part of it,” the post stated.

Farina is just one of many restaurant closures that have been announced over the past few months in the area. Last month, an Edmonton cafe revealed it would be closing its doors after 22 years in business, while a long-standing downtown Boston Pizza location also called it quits.
