Edmonton to see seven straight days of sunshine this week

Things have been quite gloomy as of late, but spring is finally starting to turn into full swing here in Edmonton, with seven straight days of sunshine expected this week.

According to Environment Canada, the week will be mainly sunny, with a few days mixed with sun and cloud.

From Wednesday to Tuesday, the daily temperature high is expected to stay in the double digits.

High winds are expected Wednesday evening and Thursday morning, between 30 and 50 km/h on Wednesday, and 20 and 40 km/h on Thursday.

While it has taken some time for things to warm up, seeing the sun — even if it is just peaking out behind the clouds — is a nice reminder that spring has sprung. Finally.
