Edmonton Oilers players and WAGs are already embracing the spooky season

The vibes are high amongst the Edmonton Oilers right now.

Though it hasn’t necessarily been pretty, Mike Babcock’s squad is off to a 2-0-1 start to the season. Even more impressive is that they’ve been able to jump off to a strong start despite having several injuries in the early going.

The Oilers’ most recent game came on Saturday, which saw them take down the Seattle Kraken by a 3-1 final. They’ve had some downtime since, with their next outing not scheduled until Thursday.

They seem to be enjoying the short break, and deservedly so.

On Sunday night, Celeste Draisaitl shared a photo to her Instagram story of several Oilers teammates along with their partners gathered at a Halloween festivity.

Several members of the Oilers can be spotted in the photo, including both Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl. While they’re currently out of the lineup due to injuries, Frederik Andersen and Matt Savoie were also in attendance.

“Spooky season is in full swing,” Celeste captioned the photo.

Get-togethers like this are nothing new for the Oilers, who have been a tight-knit group over the years. During the summer, several members of the roster got together for a weekend in what appeared to be a gorgeous vacation.

This group is clearly feeling good about themselves right now, and fans are hoping that can continue to be the case moving forward.

After being eliminated in the first round of last season’s playoffs, the Oilers are facing a ton of pressure to win it all in 2026-27. While there’s still a long way to go before that happens, they’ve gotten off to a strong start.

They’ll look to continue that on Wednesday night as they head to California to take on the Anaheim Ducks.
