Grab your sunglasses and arrange the patio furniture because Edmonton is about to be treated to some of the warmest temperatures so far this year.
According to the seven-day forecast from Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC), Edmonton isn’t looking too hot in the short term, but don’t worry, things are looking up.
For much of the workweek, Edmonton is looking to endure below-average temperatures, sitting at a high of 13°C today and 12°C tomorrow, with showers and periods of rain today and tomorrow.
Friday is forecast to flirt with the 20°C mark before a tiny dip in temperatures on Saturday. The real show begins on Sunday, with a high of 24°C, and Monday is sitting at a stellar 29°C, and if that is hit, it will mark the first time Edmonton hits that temperature so far this year.

Environment and Climate Change Canada
According to historical data from ECCC, Edmonton saw its hottest temperature this year on May 3, reaching 27.6°C.
The ECCC states that the average high for this time of year in Edmonton is 19°C, while the average low is 7°C.
While we await the warmer temperatures, be sure to game plan your outfits for each of the Edmonton Oilers games this week accordingly!
