Good news, grocery shoppers – FreshCo is coming to Alberta!
The deep-discount Canadian supermarket chain is opening its first location in the province on March 18 in Edmonton.
FreshCo Heritage franchisee Keith Manasterski is working to source local Alberta offerings at competitive prices for the Edmonton community. Shoppers can expect to find tons of YEG goodies in the store, such as baked goods from Italian Bakery and Loriz Bakery.

Since launching in 2010, FreshCo has aimed to provide shoppers with quality food at low prices.
The stores offer a wide array of frozen and refrigerated products that reflect the communities that they operate in. Each store also has “Fresh Hall” product aisles, boasting fresh food items, baked goods, and a variety of cheeses and meats. A feature aisle offers even further savings opportunities for shoppers.
The supermarket chain currently operates over 115 stores across Ontario, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, and British Columbia, and now it’s adding this Alberta location to the roster.
