PetSmart Photos With Santa

What: Canadian pet parents can bring their favourite four-legged friends to PetSmart locations for free Santa photos on December 14, 15, 21 and 22. The annual event will be taking place at all Canadian PetSmart stores.

Pet parents can get a digital photo from PetSmart taken or take photos on their own mobile devices. From dogs, cats, guinea pigs, bunnies, lizards and more, all pets are welcome to meet Santa and let him know what is on their holiday wish list.

Sensory-Friendly Santa Experience

What: Edmonton’s Kingsway Mall is hosting its free sensory-friendly Santa Claus experience again this year. The special times with Santa are designed to accommodate children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, other sensory processing disorders, or mobility needs. These kids often have trouble with loud noises, bright lights, and crowds — which are common in shopping centres.

Kingsway Mall is hosting the sensory-friendly Santa experiences on December 8 and 15 after the mall closes to customers. The lights will be dimmed and music turned off to create a calm environment. The experience is free, but interested families need to make an appointment by contacting Guest Services.

Community Skate with Edmonton Rage
