Located in the historic H.V. Shaw building, Yellowhead Brewery was redesigned by a local architect, Gene Dub. On top of the delicious beer, the brewery itself was named after its flagship premium lager, because it was the name of the first commercially brewed beer in Edmonton in 1894.
