Leon Draisaitl and Celeste Desjardins' wedding weekend has begun in South of France
The celebration for Leon Draisaitl and Celeste Desjardins’ wedding weekend has gotten underway.
Draisaitl proposed to the Canadian actress last summer while in vacation in Mallorca, Spain, though they did a great job at keeping the wedding date itself a secret from the public eye.

It was clear that the wedding was coming soon, as Connor McDavid and Lauren Kyle McDavid recently made their way to the South of France, where the wedding is being held. Lauren is serving as one of two maids of honour for Celeste.
Along with the McDavids, several other teammates, both current and former, are there to celebrate the happy couple this weekend. This includes recently traded Evander Kane and his fiancée, Mara Teigen.

Another former teammate who made the trek is a fan favourite in Sam Gagner, who is there with his wife, Rachel.

Other former teammates that are seemingly in attendance based on their significant others’ Instagram stories include Warren Foegele and Tyson Barrie, though there are almost certainly more who we will learn about in the days to come.

As for current teammates, we will again certainly see more in the coming days, though aside from McDavid, one who was also evidently at the start of the celebration last night was Darnell Nurse.

Based on several captions that we’ve seen on Instagram, it appears that Draisaitl and Celeste did indeed opt for a weekend celebration. It sounds as though they have one extremely exciting celebration set up, and it also means that Oilers fans should expect to be treated to several more stunning photos over the next few days.
