Premier Danielle Smith has offered an invitation to comedian and podcaster Joe Rogan to the Calgary Stampede this July.
Smith took to social media Thursday afternoon to share a clip of Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre on Rogan’s popular podcast, The Joe Rogan Experience.
The interview, which is more than two hours long, was uploaded this afternoon and covered a wide scope of topics, including Alberta.
In the clip of the interview, shared by Smith, Rogan mentioned having visited Edmonton, as well as doing some hunting in the northern portions of the province.
Poilievre stated that he loved Calgary, and that Rogan has to visit the Stampede and see the Greatest Outdoor Show on Earth.
“If you did your comedy show in Calgary, you’d get a massive turnout,” Poilevre added.
Smith said on her X account this afternoon that her post should be considered an “official invitation” to Rogan for him to come back to Alberta this summer and visit the Calgary Stampede.
Joe Rogan is 100% correct: Alberta is a truly amazing place with some incredibly hardworking people!
