Edmonton Costco location introduces a big change for holiday season

The holidays are quickly approaching, and one Costco location in Edmonton will be extending its hours to accommodate the busy shopping season.

Following Thanksgiving, the bulk retailer extended its weekend operating hours for warehouse locations in Alberta to be open until 7 p.m. on Saturdays and 6 p.m. on Sundays, until Jan. 1, 2026.

The retailer has now geared up for another round of longer hours as holiday shopping ramps up, with its business centre location adjusting its schedule.

Starting today, the sole Costco Business Centre in Alberta, located in west Edmonton at 10310 186th St. NW, will be open Monday to Saturday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., while its Sunday hours will be from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., giving customers an extra hour to shop each day.

It’s important to note that even with the extended hours, the business centre will only operate from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve, while open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Boxing Day. It will be closed on Christmas Day and New Year’s Day.

Enjoy the longer hours at this Edmonton Costco Business Centre location while it lasts, with regular hours returning on Friday, Jan. 2, 2026.
