One of Edmonton's most popular restaurant groups is opening a new bistro
From the SABOR restaurant group comes another restaurant concept in the heart of Edmonton.
SABOR Restaurant opened in 2008, with Christian Mena and Adelino Oliveira sharing cultural food from Chile and Portugal. The restaurant specializes in coastal cuisine, using sustainable seafood featuring a Latin flair.
Since then, the team has continued to see success with SABOR and has opened many of its Bodega Tapas Bar locations across Edmonton and the surrounding areas.
Atrium at SABOR is the team’s newest concept, a premier event space, cafe and restaurant located in Downtown Edmonton.

Its soft opening starts today, Aug. 26, with the restaurant officially taking reservations. The menu has not been released yet, but it goes “from morning coffee to midnight toasts,” as the restaurant is advertised as being a cafe, bistro, social hour, and restaurant all in one.
The building it occupies is an elegant, open-concept space with tall ceilings, putting the “premier” in premier event space. It’s located right in the middle of Downtown Edmonton, just down the street from the bustling Jasper Avenue.
As for the hours, the new space’s soft opening hours will be 11 a.m. to close Monday through Friday, with a social hour featuring half-priced wine and features from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. It’s only open from 5 p.m. to close on Saturdays, and is fully closed on Sundays.
The team behind SABOR has had so much success in their past restaurants; there is no doubt that Atrium at SABOR will impress.
