
It’s sure cold across much of Alberta this morning, and one town has landed as one of the coldest spots on Earth today.
According to a new weather report from WX-Now, which tracks the world’s most extreme weather, plenty of Canadian locations were some of the coldest places on the planet on Friday, Dec. 12, with an Alberta spot landing on the list.
Spots in the far north are really feeling the cold this morning, with Watson Lake, Yukon leading the pack at a mind-numbing -47°C. Faro and Carmacks, also in the Yukon, are second and third place on the list, at -46°C and -44°C, respectively.

High Level, Alta., with a population just over 4,000 people, is sitting at a bone-chilling -41°C this morning, making it the coldest spot in the province and one of the coldest on Earth.
