Alberta restaurants and bars to close for in-person service

Alberta officials have announced new restrictions for bars, pubs, and restaurants in the province.

On Tuesday, Alberta Premier Jason Kenney announced several new measures for the province, including some specific to restaurants and other food and beverage businesses.

Starting December 13 at 12:01 am restaurants, pubs, bars, lounges and cafes will be closed to in-person service.

Only takeout, curbside pickup and delivery services will be permitted.

These measures will be in effect for at least four weeks, province-wide.
