16 players can hit career milestones with Edmonton Oilers next season

History can be made by multiple Edmonton Oilers players next season, with some on the precipice of major career milestones.

Not every milestone will hold the same weight, with a few hardly gathering much fanfare at all, but they will all mean something to that respective player. Last season, we saw Connor McDavid reach the 1,000-point mark, and a similar milestone could be in store for Leon Draisaitl, who is just 44 points away from joining that club.

Ryan Nugent-Hopkins and Adam Henrique are also closing in on 1,000 NHL games played, something that has been accomplished by just over 400 players throughout league history.

Those will stand out as the big moments of the 2025-26 season for the Oilers, but let’s not forget some of the other, smaller milestones that players will hit. In total, 16 players could celebrate some sort of milestone this upcoming season.
