Edmonton Oilers fans will once again have to switch channels from Sportsnet for a select few games next season.

Prime Video’s Monday Night Hockey is set to return for the 2025-26 NHL season and will feature three Oilers games. This comes after the streaming giant debuted its hockey broadcast last year, featuring a total of 26 NHL games on Prime.

Edmonton will make its season debut on Prime starting with a Nov. 10 matchup against the Columbus Blue Jackets. Prime Video will also host a Dec. 29 game between the Oilers and Winnipeg Jets, and then cap off Edmonton’s schedule on Jan. 26 against the Anaheim Ducks.

Out of the seven Canadian teams, the Oilers will have the second-fewest games shown on Prime. The Calgary Flames have the least, with just two late-season games scheduled to be shown on Prime.

Here is a breakdown of the number of games each Canadian NHL team will play on Prime Video:

  • Toronto Maple Leafs, six
  • Ottawa Senators, six
  • Vancouver Canucks, four
  • Montreal Canadiens, four
  • Winnipeg Jets, four
  • Edmonton Oilers, three
  • Calgary Flames, two

Oilers fans will be hoping that the team fares a lot better on their Prime schedule this time around. Edmonton lost all four matchups on Prime last season and got shut out in three of those losses.

Fans wanting to catch these games will have to subscribe to Prime Video. Right now, monthly subscriptions cost $9.99 per month or $99 annually. New subscribers will get a 30-day free trial.
