WestJet Rewards members just got a new way to earn more points.

The airline has teamed up with Canadian food delivery company Skip the Dishes to launch a new linked loyalty partnership.

Starting Wednesday, Canadians can link their WestJet Rewards and Skip accounts to earn points on qualifying Skip orders.

If you love ordering in, you can rack up WestJet points that can be used for flights and vacations with the carrier. You can also redeem those points for Skip Credits that can be used for everyday purchases at the grocery, pharmacy, retailers and restaurants.

“In a challenging economy, Canadians rely on loyalty points to turn everyday purchases into tangible value, from a need-it-now delivery to a dream vacation,” stated Rachel MacAdam, vice president of marketing at Skip.

Canadians who link the airline and food delivery company’s rewards accounts will receive an immediate bonus of 500 WestJet points (a five-dollar value) and six months of Skip+ free ($60 value). This will unlock free delivery from thousands of restaurants, retailers and more.

Members will also be able to participate in weekly “WestJet Wednesday” Skip Challenges, earning airline points on eligible orders. Additionally, Skip members will gain exclusive access to the airline’s annual seat sales.

“By linking WestJet Rewards with Skip, we’re giving our members the flexibility to earn and redeem points in ways that go beyond travel, bringing their next getaway closer with every order,” stated Steve McClelland, WestJet vice president of loyalty and strategic partnerships.

You can link your accounts by signing into your Skip account, selecting “link now” with Skip, and following the guided steps to authenticate your Skip account.

This isn’t the only company the airline has partnered with to increase the ways members can earn points. In October, Telus and WestJet announced a partnership with their rewards programs.

This comes after the carrier revamped its loyalty program in February.
