Several Canadian lottery players had a stroke of luck over the weekend after successful draws.
Friday’s Lotto Max draw had a jackpot of $34 million up for grabs. The winning numbers were 09, 10, 22, 29, 35, 37, 46, and bonus 38.
While no one became a multimillionaire, two lucky lottery players from Ontario matched six out of the seven winning numbers, including the bonus. They’re splitting the second Lotto Max prize, taking home $89,171.00 each.
The winning numbers for the Lotto Max Extra prize were 20, 33, 36, and 93. Unfortunately, no one won the $500,000 top prize, but 47 Canadians did match three out of four numbers to win a modest $1,000.

The Lotto 6/49 draw on Saturday, July 26, saw even more wins. The $28 million Gold Ball jackpot went unclaimed, but a 10th white ball was drawn.
A lottery player from Surrey, B.C. matched the winning numbers 16253989-03, taking home the $1 million White Ball prize.
The winning numbers for the Classic Draw prize were 05, 08, 13, 26, 44, 49, and 47. While no one won the $5 million top prize, a whopping seven Canadians matched six out of five numbers, including the bonus, splitting the second prize.
One lottery player from Nanaimo, B.C., one from Manitoba, and five from Ontario are taking home $24,595.80 each.
The winning numbers from the Lotto 6/49 Classic Draw Extra prize were 31, 53, 60, and 78. Sadly, no one is taking home the $500,000 jackpot.
If you didn’t beat the odds over the weekend, more lottery draws are coming your way this week.
The Lotto Max jackpot balloons to $40 million for the draw on Tuesday, July 29. The next Lotto 6/49 draw is on Wednesday, July 30. The Gold Ball jackpot increases to $30 million with 20 balls left.
