Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s private time on a BC ski hill was interrupted after a member of the public confronted him. And Canadians have mixed feelings about the encounter.
A viral video shows a woman approaching Trudeau in a snowy parking lot.
“Mr. Prime Minister,” she calls out, prompting him to turn around.
After shaking his hand, the woman said, “Please get the f*ck out of BC.”
Trudeau laughs off the exchange and wishes her a wonderful day. She responded with, “Yeah, you suck.”

The incident drew mixed reactions from Canadians, with some calling the interaction “uncalled for”.
There is no need of this no matter what you think of the job he’s done. You can not like him and not post this.
Recording something like this with the clear intent to get attention pulls us away from decency.
🇨🇦 We’re better than this.

A simple “you need to resign” would probably suffice. People that just go off swearing end up make him look good when he calmly wishes them well and leaves.

I’m no @JustinTrudeau, fan but this was uncalled for.
I’m confident his security ‘entourage’ got reamed out over her getting to him over this.— LarryJClark (@LarryJClark) December 28, 2024
However, others applauded the woman for her actions, stating that the woman “deserves some free dinners & drinks.”
I want to meet this woman and buy her a beer. Good on her.

Some reports state that the encounter occurred at Red Mountain Resort in Rossland, though it has not been officially confirmed where Trudeau is in BC. The Prime Minister’s official itinerary currently lists his whereabouts as BC with “no public events scheduled.”
This is not the only recent confrontation that Trudeau has had with a member of the public.
During a summer visit to Algoma Steel Inc., a steel manufacturer in Sault Ste. Marie, ON which employs 2,700 workers, Trudeau was confronted on taxes and dental care.
“I think you’re only around for another year,” the man said. “We won’t see you around for another year.”
“Well, that’s what elections are for,” replied Trudeau. “And I look forward to everyone exercising the right to vote.”
“You’re not really doing anything for us, Justin,” said the man who refused to shake Trudeau’s hand as he walked away.
