Some TD credit card holders in Canada just got an update on how they can redeem their rewards points or Cash Back Dollars.
After surveying 1,527 Canadians, TD Bank found that four in five Canadians (78 per cent) want more flexible redemption options for TD Rewards Points and Cash Back Dollars.
The bank is responding with a new way for eligible TD Rewards and Cash Back credit cardholders to use their rewards, allowing them to redeem points or Cash Back Dollars toward anything they buy on their TD credit card.
This includes everyday purchases like groceries and gas, as well as travel expenses like flights and hotels. The financial institution says this new redemption option makes using your points more versatile and valuable.
“This new way to pay off purchases makes that possible,” said Anne-Lynne Davidson, vice president of Loyalty Canadian Personal Bank, TD.
“It puts the power directly in customers’ hands, so they can redeem their TD Rewards Points or Cash Back Dollars for what matters most to them, from everyday essentials to dream getaways.”
