Although no one will be taking home the Lotto Max jackpot, two Canadian winners will soon be celebrating an impressive win.

The Lotto Max draw took place on Tuesday, July 29, and the winning numbers were 10, 13, 15, 17, 33, 37, 46, and bonus 03. No one matched the seven numbers to score the jackpot worth $40 million, but two people came quite close.

According to PlayNow, two tickets matched six of the seven winning numbers and the bonus number; as a result, two lottery players will split the second prize. One ticket was sold in North Vancouver and the second in Western Canada. Each winner will receive $85,689.40.

The third prize will be split among 40 lottery players who matched six of the seven numbers. Each of them will walk away with a $4,284.50 prize.

In B.C., there were no winners for the Lotto Max Extra Prize worth $500,000, and similarly in Ontario, no one won the $1-million Encore prize.

On Friday, July 11, two lottery winners from Quebec split the $70-million Lotto Max jackpot.
