
With a gigantic jackpot to be won, there’s no doubt that all eyes were on the prize during the recent Lotto Max draw.
The draw took place on Tuesday, April 22, and the top prize was $55 million. Hopeful Canadian lottery players will have to try again because, according to PlayNow, no one matched the seven winning numbers: 05, 19, 25, 31, 34, 38, and 48, and the bonus number 15.
It wasn’t the luckiest of draws because no one won the second prize of $196,985.70. Thirty-five people matched six of the seven winning numbers to win the third prize. Split between them, each will receive a $5,628.20 prize.
At the time, there were four Maxmillions prizes to be won, each worth $1 million. The winning numbers were:

- 2 4 11 17 20 38 46
- 3 10 14 19 21 23 43
- 4 8 24 25 36 46 50

Loto-Quebec
In B.C., the Lotto Max Extra winning numbers were 16, 83, 97, and 98, but no one won the $500,000 prize. Similarly, in Ontario, no one matched the Encore number 3102688 to win the $1 million prize.
The last time someone won the Lotto Max jackpot was on March 28, and the winning numbers were 07, 13, 33, 40, 44, 49, 50, and the bonus number was 32. One lucky Canadian matched the seven winning numbers to win the $65-million top prize.
“For the fourth consecutive time this year, the Lotto Max jackpot has been won in Ontario!” reads a statement from OLG. The winning ticket was sold in the town of Newmarket.
Looking to try your luck again? The next Lotto Max draw is set for Friday, April 25, and the jackpot is now worth $60 million. There are also six Maxmillions prizes to be won.
