Two friends become multimillionaires after buying lotto ticket on a whim

Two friends from Quebec received the surprise of a lifetime when the lottery scratch ticket they bought turned out to be the $5,000,000 grand prize winner.

Marvin Karl Henderson Faisal, from Montréal, and Salvacion Carillo, from Estrie, were at the convenience store and decided to purchase a Lotto Max ticket.

The Colossal scratch ticket caught their eye and they decided to give it a try. They scratched the game in store and they ended up winning the grand prize.

Loto-Québec

The duo went to the Loto-Québec offices immediately after their win to claim their prize and split it.

Faisal realized he was going to be late for work, so he gave them a call to let them know. He even showed up to work after receiving his cheque.

“I plan to take tomorrow off,” he said in a release.

The two friends said they plan on going on a few trips and investing some of their winnings.
