The recent lottery draw wasn’t exactly an evening for winners, but all eyes are on the giant jackpot, which is only getting bigger.
The Lotto Max jackpot took place on Tuesday, November 12, and there was a $60 million prize to be won. The winning numbers were 01, 12, 13, 24, 28, 36, 39, and bonus 35. No one won the top prize or even the second prize worth $212,626.90.
Thirty-seven lottery layers did match six of the seven winning numbers and will, therefore, split the third prize. Each one will soon receive a cheque for $5,746.70.
Six Maxmillions were also up for grabs during last night’s draw, but no one won a single prize.

But here’s hoping Canadians have better luck in the next draw.
“In the next Lotto Max draw, slated for Friday, November 15, the prize pool will amount to $73 million and include a $65 million jackpot and an estimated eight Maxmillions,” stated a release from Loto Quebec.
The last time anyone won a Lotto Max top prize was on October 15, when a lottery player matched the winning numbers 08, 12, 19, 20, 26, 32, and 46. According to PlayNow, the lucky ticket was purchased in Etobicoke, Ontario. Someone from BC won the second prize worth $220,354 after buying their ticket online.
