Someone in Canada just woke up a brand-new millionaire after a successful lottery draw.
Tuesday night’s Lotto 6/49 had a $20-million Gold Ball jackpot up for grabs.
While the gold ball was not drawn, a white ball was picked, blessing a lottery player with $1 million.

A lucky Ontario player matched all the winning numbers 49979077-01, taking home the million-dollar prize.
The lottery numbers for the Classic Draw prize were 07, 19, 20, 26, 31, 35, and bonus 40.
Sadly, no one won the top prize of $5 million or the second prize of $160,493.50. There were 74 Canadians who matched five out of six winning numbers, taking home $910.70 each.
The lottery numbers for the Classic Draw Extra prize were 54, 56, 69, and 99.
Unfortunately, no one won the jackpot of $500,000, but 14 Canadians did win a modest $1,000 after matching three out of four numbers.
If you couldn’t beat the odds this time around, the next Lotto 6/49 draw is on Saturday, March 1. With 24 balls left in the pot, $22 million will be up for grabs. It’s also a super draw, which likely means additional chances to win more prizes.
There’s also Fridayās Lotto Max jackpot with $15 million up for grabs.
