
A lucky Canadian lottery player is in for an exciting surprise after winning a life-changing prize.
The Lotto 6/49 draw took place on Wednesday, February 12, and the Gold Ball prize was worth $12 million. No one won the jackpot, but someone did win the guaranteed White Ball prize worth $1 million. After they matched the winning number 77336691-04, one lottery player is now a millionaire. According to PlayNow, the lucky ticket was sold in Quebec.
The Lotto 6/49 Classic Draw winning numbers were 19, 24, 39, 40, 42, 45, and bonus 41. However, no one matched them to win the $5 million top prize. Similarly, no one matched five of the six winning numbers, and the bonus number to win the second prize worth $239,724.60. A total of 53 people did match five of the six winning numbers, thereby splitting the third prize. Each will receive $1,899.30.
The Lotto 6/49 Classic Draw Extra winning numbers were 4, 20, 26, and 29, but no one won the $500,000 prize. According to OLG, the winning Encore number was 1688485, but no one won the $1 million top prize.
The next Lotto 6/49 draw is set for February 15, and the Gold Ball prize is now worth $14 million.
