People are side-eyeing Justin Bieber's reaction to Hailey Bieber's 'Vogue' cover

Justin Bieber shared a post that was supposed to celebrate his wife Hailey Bieber’s first solo American Vogue cover, but ended up getting a collective side-eye from the internet.

Vogue announced on Tuesday that Hailey is its Summer 2025 cover star, revealing the Rhode founder’s fresh and chic cover shoot.

“Hailey Bieber is shutting out the noise — and finding her bliss,” reads the headline of the model’s cover story.

Unfortunately, the reveal of her cover only seemed to bring more noise from people online, exacerbated by Justin’s initial reaction to Hailey’s milestone.

In an Instagram post on Tuesday, the “Sorry” singer shared his wife’s cover with a caption recalling a time when they got into a fight after he said Hailey “would never be on the cover of Vogue.”

“Yikes, I know, so mean. For some reason, because I felt disrespected. I thought I gotta get even… I think as we mature, we realize that we’re not helping anything by getting even. We’re honestly just prolonging what we really want, which is intimacy and connection,” it reads.

“So baby u already know but forgive me for saying u wouldn’t get a Vogue cover cuz clearly I was sadly mistaken.”

The caption quickly went viral online, with many expressing how bizarre his post was.

“‘I was sadly mistaken,’ so you’re sad you were wrong?????” reads one post on X.

“He seriously hates his wife cause why would he say that. He’s weird,” added another.

Others expressed their frustration on behalf of Hailey.

“Please shoot me dead if I ever got a Vogue cover and my husband made this his caption about me. Is Justin Bieber okay?” posted an X user.

“Nah I’m actually pissed bc you ruined her moment now everybody just talking about your stupid caption! Men are so annoying!! @justinbieber,” another chimed in.

Justin has since edited the caption to “🤷🫵🏻🫶🏼🥹” after the backlash.

But as you can see in the screenshot above, nothing gets past the internet.

“No shot u changed the caption after airing dirty laundry like that,” reads a comment.

Before her solo appearance, Hailey first made the cover of Vogue alongside her husband in 2019.

Just days before this, the Biebers were spotted sitting directly behind the Toronto Maple Leafs bench for Game 7 against the Florida Panthers.
