With Thanksgiving weekend behind us, Costco Canada shoppers are being advised to check whether they’ve purchased a product included in the latest recall.

On Tuesday, Costco Canada shared a notice from California-based company Kevin’s Natural Foods, stating that it’s recalling its turkey gravy across several provinces due to undeclared mustard.

“Do not consume this product if you are allergic or sensitive to mustard,” reads the statement. “Consuming products to which you are allergic or sensitive may cause a serious or life-threatening reaction.”

Kevin’s Turkey Gravy was sold at Costco warehouses in Manitoba, Alberta, Saskatchewan, and British Columbia between September 2026 and October 2026. The gravy was sold in 1.33-litre boxes.

If you purchased the product, you can check if it’s part of the recall based on the lot numbers and best-before dates below:

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) also announced the recall, stating that it’s making sure that the affected products are being pulled from the marketplace.

“The CFIA is conducting a food safety investigation, which may lead to the recall of other products,” reads the statement.

The recall has been categorized as a class one, which means that “there is a high risk that consuming the food may lead to serious health problems or death.”
