Cineplex down for some as Taylor Swift's 'Life of a Showgirl' tickets go on sale

Taylor Swift fans hoping to buy tickets to her highly anticipated release party for her 12th studio album, The Life of a Showgirl, hit a snag on Tuesday, with the Cineplex website down for some.
Many Canadian Swifties reported never-ending loading issues along with frozen screens when trying to purchase tickets, which went on sale today at 3 p.m. local time for $16 per ticket.
Daily Hive reached out to Cineplex regarding the issues. The company stated their “team is working on having the issue resolved and [apologizes] for the inconvenience.”
Many fans took to social media to make light of the situation, cracking jokes while they hoped for a quick solution to the glitch.

The Official Release Party of a Showgirl will be in Cineplex theatres across the country for one weekend only, Oct. 3, 4 and 5.
Fans queueing up to visit theatres next weekend are set to be treated to the exclusive world premiere of Swift’s newest music video, “The Fate of Ophelia”, along with behind-the-scenes footage from the music video shoot, brand new lyric videos, and Swift’s never-before-seen personal reflections on songs from her upcoming album.
It’s been a juggernaut past couple of months for Swift, who announced her engagement to NFL star Travis Kelce late last month.
