Health Canada has announced that it’s recalling thousands of chargers sold at Winners, HomeSense, and Marshalls.
Shoppers in Canada who’ve purchased the brand of wireless chargers from Winners, HomeSense, and Marshalls are being warned of a potential safety risk. In a statement issued on Tuesday, Dec. 15, Health Canada stated that it’s recalling the Isla Rae Magnetic Wireless Charger as it can overheat, thereby posing fire and burn hazards.
“This recall involves Isla Rae Magnetic Wireless Charger 15W, MagSafe Compatible,” reads the statement. “Immediately stop using the recalled products and return them to any HomeSense, Winners, or Marshalls for a refund.”
Health Canada said that as of Nov. 26, the company received five reports of incidents of mild burns. According to TJX Canada, 7,000 of the affected products were sold in Canada from June 2024 to April 2025.
Make sure to check if you have the affected product. If so, immediately stop using it and return it to any HomeSense, Winners, or Marshalls location for a refund. Do not sell, redistribute, or give away the recalled product.
