This wellness retreat was just crowned the best in Canada — here’s how much it costs
Dream of turning your phone off for a few days and immersing yourself in nature? The newly crowned best wellness retreat in Canada might be just the vacation you need.
For 12 years, the World Spa Awards have celebrated the best of the best across the global spa and wellness industry, and this year, a few Canadian spots came away with some new bragging rights.
While no Canadian property took home awards for the World’s Best categories, there is an entire section dedicated to the best spas in the country.
For the second year in a row, Spa Eastman has been crowned Canada’s Best Wellness Retreat.
Located about an hour’s drive from Montreal, the sprawling Quebec retreat is surrounded by nature, making it a pretty appealing option for anyone who wants to swap screen time and city noise for saunas and some serious R&R.
The property sits on 333 acres and includes 10 pavilions, 15 km of nature trails, a massive gym, a pool, and a whole lineup of thermal facilities. Think infrared and Finnish saunas, hot tubs, and plenty of places to unwind.
Guests who stay at Spa Eastman also get three healthy, chef-cooked meals a day, and there are a number of different packages to choose from depending on your mood and budget.
For first-time visitors, the company recommends starting with its Destination Spa package, which starts at $873 per person for a minimum of three nights.
This package doesn’t include treatments or consultations, so there’s no real itinerary to follow. You can just explore the property and its facilities at your own pace and decide how you want to spend your time upon arrival.

There are also a number of upcoming retreats planned for Fall 2026 and Summer 2027, with prices ranging from $1,279 to $2,751.
If you’re the kind of person who actually likes to do things on vacation, there’s plenty on offer beyond lounging around. You can hit the nature trails, take fitness classes, join hands-on workshops or attend conferences and sessions with kinesiologists, naturopaths and other wellness professionals.
Can’t swing a few days off work? You can still get a taste of the retreat without committing to a full stay.
A day visit with a spa treatment costs $254, while an evening pass to enjoy the pools and saunas costs up to $149.
Now that the wellness retreat has picked up another prestigious award, we imagine dates for the rest of the year will be booked up fast.
Other spaces that were recognized at this year’s World Spa Awards include Toronto’s Guerlain Spa at Hotel X, which was named Canada’s Best Hotel Spa, and Whistler Spa at Four Seasons Resort and Residences Whistler, which took home Canada’s Best Resort Spa.
