We’ve always known that the Great White North is home to many amazing companies, but for some reason (could it be the tariffs?!), there’s been a growing appetite to celebrate Canadian brands. So much so that we’ve written two complete guides to the top homegrown heroes — and still, we’ve barely scratched the surface.
As Canada takes a more prominent place on the world stage, we’re shining a light on even more brands we think deserve your attention. We kept a variety of tastes, interests, and needs in mind so that you can pick up some cult-fave beauty finds, wardrobe pieces that understand the fickleness of Canadian weather, or just add some tasty flavours to your BBQ creations this season (plus, lots of other stuff in between).
Sidia

Sidia
As it turns out, you don’t need to choose between smelling great and taking care of your skin. This brand infuses skincare ingredients into all of its products (including the uber-popular solid perfume compacts) while delivering bucketloads of hydration. Their bestselling hand serums are ideal for tackling dryness, cracking, and damage on your grabbers, but don’t sleep on Sidia’s amazing candles and body exfoliant, either. We’re especially fond of the saucy product names — we’ll be slathering on the Braless body serum all season long.
Mintier

Mintier
Mouth tape might not be a sexy term, but over the last few months, it’s been a major part of the wellness discourse — and for good reason. According to experts, it encourages nasal breathing while you’re sleeping, improving your oxygen intake, reducing snoring, and even helping with facial posture. And while Mintier’s cutie lip-shaped stickers are adorable enough on their own to convince us, the brand hasn’t stopped there, churning out other oral care products we’re adding to our repertoire ASAP. We’re talking next-gen mouthwash (rebranded as “breath serum“) and a stainless steel tongue scraper to get the bacteria from your tongue.
Jared Brown Designs

Jared Brown | @jaredbrowndesigns/Instagram
No need to head across the border for your next investment piece when you can find some truly stunning bling from this homegrown jeweller. You can go the bespoke route or choose something fancy-schmancy from the retailer’s designer collections when you’re in the mood for something unusual, unique, or niche. Go bold, go minimalist — just don’t dawdle, because pieces sell out regularly!
411 Cosmetics

@411cosmetics/Instagram
Makeup bags might be a dime a dozen, but few — if any — are as elegant (and as intentionally designed) as this timeless leather toolkit. Folded up, we’d forgive you for mistaking it for a chic designer bag, but once you unzip it, you’ll be treated to a seriously functional layout. We’re talking separated compartments, a trio of removable pouches, a detachable mirror (that you can stick onto any smooth surface), and a pop-up brush stand that’ll remain upright while you’re working on your beat. To cap it off, the design is also modular, allowing you to detach the base when you’re travelling, remove pouches, or use the strap to carry it across your bod.
Mackage

Mackage
Every winter, we Canadians ask ourselves the philosophical question: Is it possible to stay warm and look good simultaneously? This homegrown outerwear brand believes the answer is a resounding YES. So much so that they’ve crafted layers for every one of our seasons (including fool’s summer) — things like convertible cropped trenches, raincoats in juicy seasonal hues, and ski pants are on regular rotation, rounding out what is already a robust selection of plush vests, shearling toppers, and weatherproof footwear.
Gee Beauty

Gee Beauty
The perfect formula for a top-notch beauty brand is one mom plus three daughters. This family-built brand has, in its own way, revolutionized the beauty industry, designing multi-purpose, easy-to-use, and (most importantly) effective products before it was trendy to do so. The hybrid primer-skin tint, for example, is beloved by reviewers for its flexible, light coverage and its ability to both blur and hydrate skin, and we’re extra keen on testing the Liquid Glow highlighter and the Rose Lip Mask. If none of that tickles your fancy, the brand has a very (and we do mean VERY) comprehensive offering of every beauty product you could possibly dream up.
Bouclair

@bouclair/Instagram
Landing, somewhat perfectly, between budget-friendly and bougie taste, Bouclair’s furniture offerings are ideal for those looking to inject a little personality into their space. Pieces may skew mid-century modern, but there are no rules that say you can’t tuck them into maximalist spaces, bohemian bedrooms, Art Deco-inspired dining rooms, or anywhere else your heart can dream up. Thankfully, the brand also understands the need for quality basics, offering pillow inserts, blinds and shades, and even home fragrances (because your space actually can smell as good as it looks). If you’re not sure where to start, there’s even a handy “By Room” page that’ll help you narrow down your choices depending on the space you’re decorating.
Atelier Solana

Atelier Solana
You won’t find a speck of synthetics in Atelier Solana’s unapologetically feminine wardrobe pieces. Expect plush, airy sweaters crafted of mohair and silk, slinky knit tops dotted with freshwater pearls and silk charmeuse detailing, and kerchiefs and scarves woven of pima cotton or a blend of alpaca and wool, adding timeless appeal to the brand’s made-to-order assortment. Instead of guessing your sizing according to some random sizing chart, the brand encourages sending in your exact measurements, which translates to pieces that are well and truly bespoke — and timeless.
Kilne

@kilnecookware/Instgram
Whether you’re shopping for durable, minimalist cookware or a truly great set of knives, Kilne has what you’re looking for to complete your setup. Their modern appearance belies their heirloom-level quality, resulting in goods you’ll keep (and love) for years to come. And in the age of being more budget-conscious, we’re big fans of that approach! Tableware and accessories are on offer, too, making this brand a perfect shop for all your culinary and hosting needs.
Teaology

@teaologyskincare_ca/Instagram
We’ve all been drinking tea in the hopes of benefiting from its healing and antioxidant powers, but Teaology takes that philosophy a step further, adding tea infusions to superpowered skincare for topical benefits like anti-aging, blemish-fighting, and hydrating (just to name a few). The sheet masks are must-haves, for both the skincare benefits and their genius design: the segmented shape features ear loops so you can secure it safely and cook, clean, or do other activities while you’re wearing them, and we’re big fans of the Green Tea Body Scrub that sloughs away dead skin and leaves it soft and buttery smooth.
Team Spirits

@drinkteamspirits/Instagram | Team Spirits
Zero-proof drinks might have a reputation as being more health-conscious than their boozy counterparts, but let’s be honest: a lot of them just don’t hit the spot. So colour us surprised when we came upon Team Spirits! The brand has a trio of alcohol-free classic cocktails (with more in the works) that manage to maintain all the zest, spice, and deliciousness of their OG counterparts — or you can grab a mixed six-pack if you feel like sampling and sharing them with your friends this summer.
Patti Jane Swim

Patti Jane Swim
The early aughts are having a comeback (much to our millennial chagrin), but we’re time-travelling a bit farther — to the ’70s, in fact. Patti Jane’s swimwear designs evoke the sparkly and glitzy styles of the decade, never more evident than in the funky fabrics and sexy details. The Disco Suit features high-cut legs, gold hardware, and a plunging neckline, but if you’re after a two-piece instead, there are plenty of vintage-inspired options in groovy prints you can wear from pool to beach club and everywhere in between.
Hello Joyous

@hellojoyous_/Instagram | Hello Joyous
Deciphering complicated ingredient lists doesn’t sound like our idea of a good time, to be honest, so when you’re feeling the fatigue too, we suggest Hello Joyous. The brand’s tagline — “Everything your skin needs, nothing it doesn’t” — says it all, with offerings ranging from award-winning toners to nourishing hair oils to health-conscious tea medleys. This holistic approach to beauty (and, by extension, self-care) is what we’re all about this year.
Endy

Endy
Getting an award-winning snooze just got a hell of a lot easier. No matter which model you choose — the classic or hybrid — here’s what you can expect: reduced pressure on joints, breathable support, and (in the case of the hybrid option), zero motion transfer. But product offerings don’t stop there. Endy is truly a one-stop sleep shop, with everything from pillows to bedding available, too, so you can fully revamp your bedroom setup without shopping around endlessly. If you’re still not convinced, there are quite literally tens of thousands of reviews that’ll give you a true sense of what you can expect.
Kanel Spices

@kanelspices/Instagram
Your cookout just isn’t complete without Kanel Spices. Trust us when we say you’ll never go back to grocery store brands after trying a dusting of seasonings like Sunday Roast, Montreal Bagel Spice, or — our personal favourite — Butcher’s Block. Each blend is small-batch and made from organic and naturally sourced ingredients, which means more flavour and less filler. Dip a toe in by grabbing the Kanel Classic Collection to get a sense of where your preferences lie, then stock up on refills of your favourites!
Celi

@shopceli/Instagram
We simply cannot get over Celi’s beautiful, heirloom-quality pieces. Perched perfectly at the intersection of modern design and heirloom quality, you’ll find everything from diamond-studded stackers, spiky huggies, and delicate tennis necklaces, plus generous assortments of men’s pieces, on offer here. If nothing else, the brand is a reminder that fine jewellery doesn’t have to be bland, traditional, or forgettable, allowing you to curate a stunning collection that truly reflects your tastes and personality.
AromaTech

@aromatech/Instagram
When it comes to making your home smell ah-mazing, we’re pretty confident that no one does it better than this Vancouver-based brand. By diffusing pure essential oils (without a single drop of water), you’ll get a stronger, purer scent that outlasts other diluted formulas. Adding app-operation capabilities to the sculptural diffusers was a stroke of genius, because it means you can control them from anywhere — turn it down when you’re out of the house, then bump things up so it smells fabulous by the time you return. And when you’re choosing an oil blend, you’ll have plenty of sophisticated options to choose from, no matter what scents you prefer (our favourite is The Hotel!).
Blume

@blume/Instagram | Sephora Canada
What started with the now-iconic Meltdown oil has since blossomed into a comprehensive collection of skin-friendly products. And when we say skin-friendly, we mean it — every single item is geared towards calming acne, protecting the skin barrier, and hydrating you to high heaven. Things like skincare-infused SPFs and PMS-soothing oils, which now seem so mainstream, began with this homegrown brand as the founders struggled to find products tailored specifically to the needs of people dealing with hormonal fluctuations. The Superpower Clay Mask, for example, is a dream for calming down unexpected breakouts!
Tilley

@tilleyofficial/Instagram
Tilley’s array of sleek and chic outdoor garb is enough to convince you to spend more time outside. The brand is perhaps most well-known for its hats, which are as functional as they are polished (not to mention bedecked with details to keep you cool, protected, and stylish no matter where you wear them). That same tech-first approach is also applied to sleek wardrobe essentials, iterated in proprietary fabrics like drapey, breathable Tech Silk, quick-drying and protective UPF Shade, and weightless Calm Jersey.
Lord’s Hot Sauce

Lord’s Hot Sauce | @lordshotsauceco/Instagram
Welcome to the Canadian home of flavour. Unlike other hot sauce brands that are, quite frankly, just achingly hot, each tongue-tingling Lord’s blend has a unique flavour profile designed to amplify (rather than drown out) the taste of your food. Love a zingy, approachable sauce? We suggest Limey Bender. Want something smoky to pair with your BBQ? Oak barrel-aged Holy Smokes if your go-to. Or, if you’re not quite sure where to start, take your tastebuds on a Tasting Flight and thank us later.
Love Ur Curls

@lusbrands/Instagram
Wrangling your curls under control doesn’t have to be a headache — literally. It turns out you can swap endless piles of serums, oils, enhancers, and leave-in conditioners for a streamlined 3-step routine that’ll leave your tresses shiny, bouncy and completely frizz-free. It’s clear the brand also deeply understands the struggle, curating helpful Curl Reset and Ultra Volumizing kits to help solve your most common hair problems. While other similar products don’t distinguish between curl types, LUS does things differently by curating products for curly, wavy, and coily manes alike, so you can spend more time loving your hair, rather than fighting against it.
Pyrrha

@pyrrhajewelry/Instagram
“Sustainable” is not always a word we associate with jewellery, but Pyrrha thinks it should be. And while every piece is handmade in the brand’s zero-carbon Vancouver studio, we are especially fond of the talisman-like quality infused into each one. The amulets, whether they’re iterated as signet rings, cufflinks, charm bracelets, or classic necklaces, have symbolic meaning, adding a personal and mystical touch to your collection.
Sangre de Fruta

@sangredefruta/Instagram
You know that amazing, blissed-out feeling you get right after leaving a spa, massage, or other self-care ritual? A spritz of Sangre de Fruta’s Botanical Tonic, a quick scrub with the Neroli & Myrrh Face Wash, or a lick of whipped rose-scented Body Cream will bring those same chill vibes right into your home. While fragrance-free products might be having a major moment, we’re firm believers in the power of aromatherapy, infusing every self-care moment with a touch of luxury (without sacrificing efficacy, of course).
Watier Cosmetics

@watierofficial/Instagram
Founded in 1972, Lise Watier’s eponymous brand has undergone several transformations, mirroring the growth of the people it caters to (as well as the trends and technologies of the beauty industry). Now, over 50 years later, it’s become a mainstay in makeup bags, with products like the Portfolio Professional Corrector, oil-free compact foundation, and CC multi-perfecting moisturizer taking centre stage. While new-age companies focus on branding, marketing, and trendy ingredients, Watier has always prioritized efficacy, harnessing the power of new innovations to create products that do what they say they will (and do it well).
Dean Davidson

@deandavidson/Instagram
If we had to choose one phrase to describe DD, it would be “wearable art.” The brand’s bold designs have been featured on magazine covers, worn by celebrities, graced red carpets, and showcased by trendy influencers alike, cementing its status as a major force on the global stage of jewellery design. Take a peek at the sculptural chains, bold statement earrings, or eye-catching rings — you won’t find similar designs anywhere else.
