If you’ve had items sitting in your cart for a while, this might be your sign to hold off just a little bit longer.

Amazon Prime Day is coming back to Canada next week, giving shoppers 48 hours to score deals across hundreds of thousands of products from Oct. 6 to 7.

While Prime Day usually takes place in the summer, the e-commerce giant is bringing the mega-shopping event back this fall with hundreds of exclusive deals for Prime members across more than 35 categories.

There are some pretty tempting brands in the mix.

Shoppers can expect discounts from big names including Dyson, Keurig, KitchenAid, and Stanley, along with Canadian brands and other favourites like Herschel, Cuisinart, Nutribullet, Columbia, and Philips.

Whether you’re finally upgrading that kitchen appliance that’s seen better days, giving your bedroom a little refresh with new linens, stocking up on everyday skincare essentials, or maybe even thinking about your Halloween costume, there could be a deal waiting for you.

Of course, as an added bonus, Prime members get free delivery on eligible orders.

Amazon Canada has already given shoppers a sneak peek at some of the discounts coming during the 48-hour shopping bonanza, and there are lots of sweet deals to keep an eye on.

Coffee lovers can save up to 60 per cent on select coffee and espresso machines, including from Nespresso. Meanwhile, those looking to make cleaning a little less tedious can score up to 54 per cent off select iRobot Roomba vacuums and up to 39 per cent off select Dyson vacuums.

If you’ve been thinking about upgrading your kitchen, select Cosori air fryers are going to be up to 25 per cent off.

Tech lovers can score 66 per cent off select Amazon Fire TV streaming devices, up to 50 per cent off select Alexa+ devices from Echo and Fire TV, and up to 30 per cent off select Kindle e-readers.

Gadgets and appliances aren’t the only items getting the Prime Day treatment.

Beauty lovers can snag up to 38 per cent off select Shark FlexStyle hair tools, while shoppers looking to get a head start on their winter wardrobe can snag some UGG boots for up to 40 per cent off.

If you don’t already have an Amazon Prime membership, you can sign up for one online ahead of Prime Day.

In Canada, Prime costs $99 per year or $9.99 per month, plus applicable taxes.

Along with access to Prime Day deals, members also get perks including Prime Video, Prime Music, Prime Reading, and free DoorDash delivery with a DashPass membership.

Students and anyone aged 19 to 24 can also try Prime for Young Adults, which comes with a six-month free trial. After the trial, membership costs just $4.99 per month or $49 per year.

Amazon Canada is also encouraging shoppers to do a little homework before the deals officially drop.

You can start adding items you’re interested in to your lists now, then check back during Prime Day to see if they’ve gone on sale. You can also use Buy Again to find deals on products you’ve purchased before and set up deal alerts through the Amazon Shopping app.

Happy shopping, Canada!
