Air Canada is taking the magic of the new Zootopia 2 movie to cruising altitude.
The country’s flag carrier has revealed a new Disney-themed aircraft design, wrapping one of its Airbus A220 jets in custom artwork inspired by the upcoming animated sequel from Walt Disney Animation Studios.

“This special livery is an exciting addition to our broader Disney relationship. It reminds us that travel, like storytelling, is about imagination, connection, and a little bit of magic. We’re proud to share this moment with Disney fans and families who love the adventure of travel. We can’t wait to see the movie in theatres, and to spot a special airline in Zootopia, which bears a striking resemblance to our own!” said Andy Shibata, vice president of brand at Air Canada, in a statement this week.
Quincy Kelman, vice-president of marketing for Walt Disney Studios Canada, added, “We’re thrilled to collaborate with Air Canada to bring the magic of Zootopia 2 to new heights—literally. As Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde return to the big screen, this collaboration invites fans to embark on an unforgettable journey where storytelling meets travel, celebrating the spirit of adventure that defines both Disney and Air Canada.”
Expect this aircraft to turn heads at airports across North America, proving that Disney-branded aircraft are uniquely crowd pleasing.
The Zootopia 2 aircraft marks Air Canada’s third Disney movie-inspired livery. Previous collaborations include Wish graphics on a Boeing 787 Dreamliner in 2023 and Turning Red designs on an Airbus A220 in 2022.
Until recently, Air Canada was not the only Canadian carrier bringing Disney magic to the runway, as WestJet previously also operated its own fleet of Disney-themed aircraft.
In 2023, Air Canada launched a new Walt Disney World Resort-themed onboard safety demonstration. The video blended Air Canada branding and Disney magic, and was shown on select flights.
