Calgary's enormous pizza festival is back — here are 25+ places to check out
One of Calgary’s most cheesy and delicious food festivals officially kicks off this week.
YYC Pizza Fest is back in the city on Sept. 26 and will run through Oct. 13, with more than 25 restaurants serving up their most creative pizzas, all for a good cause.
The event, now in its twelfth year, will help raise money for Calgary Meals on Wheels, with a portion of the proceeds from each purchase supporting the organization.
As part of the festivities, Calgarians will be able to cast their votes for their favourite pies, with categories including top-rated pizza, most popular pizza, most innovative pizza, and fan-favourite crust.
