Alberta is home to a lot of gigantic things — from the massive Teepee in Medicine Hat to the huge dinosaur in Drumheller, there are plenty of super-sized attractions to check out.

Well, it’s time to add one more to that list, with this one being right here in Calgary.

Telus Spark will be unveiling the world’s largest Rubik’s Cube today in an event that will also feature enthusiasts from Calgary’s Cubers on scene to teach the rest of us how to solve the colourful cube.

According to Telus Spark’s website, the grand unveiling is scheduled for 11 am, and for the following four hours attendees will be working together to move, twist, and (eventually) solve the gigantic puzzle.

The day will also see Speedcubing demos, with experts solving regular-sized cubes one-handed, blindfolded, in relays, and even with their feet.

Tickets to the event are the same as the usual general admission to Telus Spark at $26, which will give you full reign of the rest of the building.

The website states that only 5.8% of people in the world know how to solve the timeless puzzle — will you become one of them?

(And yes, Telus Spark’s will be even bigger than the one in the below video.)
