One of Calgary's favourite FREE beer events returns this weekend

The Barley Belt Tap Tour is back for its second year of celebrating all things local beer and breweries in SE Calgary.

The FREE one-day event is taking place on Sunday, August 26 from noon to 6 pm. Attendees will be able to drink local beer from six Calgary breweries including Annex Ale Project, Banded Peak Brewing, Born Colorado Brewing, The OT Brewing Company, Paddy’s BBQ and Brewery, and Village Brewery.

The event will also feature live music, food trucks, beer gardens, free transportation, and the option to purchase $30 beer passports on-site (or pre-purchase).

The beer passport gets you one beer per brewery and $5 from every passport sales is donated to United Way of Calgary and Area, but individual pints will also be available for $6.

Beer lovers will get to explore Manchester and Highfield and can travel by foot, bike, or complimentary shuttle (comes every 15-20 minutes) to each brewery that will have a parking lot beer garden.
