Want to win a brand new LG 50” 4K HDR Smart TV? Be the first to find it in Calgary

Jun 15 2018, 4:02 am

Watching a movie should be a truly immersive experience with breathtaking, true-to-life colours, and now that’s a reality because TELUS has launched 4K HDR on Optik TV.

TELUS is the first and only provider in Western Canada to offer 4K HDR content On Demand and on Netflix, giving you the brightest whites, the darkest blacks, and a billion dazzling colours. With Optik TV, you can also restart live TV in progress or from the past 30 hours, easily access YouTube in 4K, as well access the largest On Demand library, including a collection of healthy living shows.

Instead of us just telling you how amazing it is, we want you to experience 4K HDR for yourself. That’s why we’re teaming up with TELUS  and LG to give two lucky readers a brand new 50″ LG 4K HDR Smart TV each.

How you can win

So, this isn’t quite like your average enter-to-win contest.

Instead, we’re going to place the two 50″ LG 4K HDR Smart TVs together in an undisclosed location in Calgary and we’re going to stream the placement live on Daily Hive’s Facebook page.

All you have to do is keep an eye on Daily Hive’s Facebook page on Thursday, June 28, starting at  5:30pm MDT to see if you recognize the location where we have placed the TVs, then go and claim your prize – just like that.

Entrants must be 18 years of age or older to enter. No purchase necessary. Read complete Contest Rules before entering.

Simply find the hidden location and say the special TELUS phrase to our team and the prize will be yours. It’s that easy!

Don’t worry, we’ll be giving you some visual clues during the live stream that will give you an idea of where the TELUS team is stationed.

And if you don’t win a TV on June 28, you still have the chance to get your own 50″ LG 4K HDR Smart TV for free when you get Optik TV and TELUS internet on a two-year term – you can find out more about that here.

Visit TELUS now to find out more about 4K HDR on Optik TV, and why the best TV keeps getting better.
