Win FREE tickets to see Alexisonfire live in Calgary (CONTEST)

If you’re a fan of Alexisonfire, it’s your lucky day. The post-hardcore band is coming to Calgary early in the new year, and by entering the contest below, you can enter to win two free tickets.

The band are making their way across the country, with headline shows, heading to Winnipeg and Edmonton, before hitting Calgary, Vancouver, and Seattle.

The five-piece band from St. Catherines in Ontario is set to perform in Calgary at the Scotiabank Saddledome on January 23.

Longtime fans of The Distillers, a punk rock band that formed in Los Angeles in 1998 by Australian vocalist and guitarist, Brody Dalle, will be excited to know that they can catch them also opening for Alexisonfire. The punk rock band only just regrouped in 2018 after breaking up in 2006.

One of the bands opening for Alexisonfire is garage punk rockers from Montreal, Nobro — known for their bass-driven sounds and catchy vocals.

Alexisonfire is also back, releasing music for the first time in nearly 10 years. Produced by Karl Bareham from City and Colour and mixed by Grammy-award winning Jacquire King, the band’s two new tracks are called “Familiar Drugs” and “Complicit”.

Since releasing these new tracks, Alexisonfire has played in London, New York, and LA. They also played two consecutive nights at Toronto’s Budweiser Stage, where after the team’s win to Golden State the night before, the Raptors mascot, The Raptor, kicked off the show.

$1 from every ticket will go to organizations and communities in need, thanks to the band’s partnership with PLUS1.
