New Korean BBQ takes over space previously home to a long-standing restaurant

Just a few weeks after the closure of Seoul BBQ, a new restaurant serving authentic Korean BBQ has opened in its place.
Mapo Galbee is Calgary’s newest KBBQ joint, which offers flavour-packed bites where the diner is in the driver’s seat.
The name comes from the Mapo District of Seoul, aiming to bring that energy to YYC, and as a city that loves a good Korean BBQ, Mapo Galbee is going to be popular.

Some of the signature dishes on offer are the Mapo Pork Galbee, Pork Belly Platter, and Beef Galbee, but the decision is in your hands.
You simply order whatever meats you want, fire up the charcoal grill for extra smokiness, and cook as you please.
Mapo Galbee is open for dinner service daily.
