Warmer temperatures and sunshine expected in Calgary this week

Good news, Calgary – temperatures are rising this week, and we’re already feeling some warmer weather.

It’s currently -14°C in the city, and you can expect a high of -6°C today.

We may see some flurries this afternoon and overnight, adding up to approximately 1 cm of snow; however, the temperature will remain steady with a low of -11°C, feeling like -17°C.

Wednesday morning could bring a few more flurries, but skies will clear in the afternoon with a high of -6°C.

According to The Weather Network, Calgarians can expect a mix of sun and clouds through the rest of the week, and there’s a forecasted high of 1°C on Friday.

Saturday and Sunday continue with above-zero temperatures, with 3°C predicted by the end of the week.

This week is going to feel positively tropical after the polar vortex that placed an extreme cold warning in effect for most of last week.
