Calling all budding VR developers:
An all-day workshop on Sunday, July 31 promises to give you a foundational understanding of what it takes to be a virtual reality developer making your own games.
Expert VR developer Lou Pushelberg will be running the workshop, guiding attendees through building a submarine piloting game for the Oculus Rift and HTC Vive in C#, the programming language for Unity. Attendees will also get networking time at the afterparty, as well as Rift and Vive demos and a free Google Cardboard headset (normally $15).
All you need is a laptop or computer with Unity 3D installed, a mouse, and a free Sunday to learn all the basics you need to succeed in the VR world.
