Vancouver alt-folk musician Terence Jack releases new single, “Eastern Rise”

Terence Jack’s thirst for adventure was well-illustrated on his 2015 debut album, Reckless Abandon, through gritty instrumentation and lyrical subject matter that reflected upon his travels. The Vancouver-based alternative folk artist continues his journey with his recently released follow-up, Never Get Back, and, now, a brand new single.

Titled “Eastern Rise,” the track is comprised of a pleasing contrast of anthemic verses, a soft chorus, hard-hitting riffs, and staccato piano, the latter which came as a result of Jack’s fruitful collaboration with former bandmate and Never Get Back co-producer Daniel Klenner (We Are The City, Tourist Company, Hey Ocean!).

Not one to sit still, Jack is embarking on a 30-date cross-Canada tour in support of the new album and lands in Calgary on April 9.
