Calgary's new vegan fast food joint "V Burger" is officially open

We had a hunch YYC would love its newest joint for hearty grub, V Burger, and from what we can tell, its opening weekend was a smash hit.

The fresh plant-based fast food spot is now officially open and operating.

Located at 819 17 Avenue SW, the eatery welcomed its first customers on July 11, offering up 100% plant-based grub such as burgers, fries, and drool-worthy milkshakes, sundaes, soft serve cones, and even cookie ice cream sandos.

V Burger opened the same day as another new business on 17th Avenue, the Element Cafe.

You can find this destination open in Calgary Sunday to Thursday from 11 am to 10 pm and Friday and Saturday from 11 am to 11 pm.
