Calgary's illuminated ULTRA Night Run is returning next weekend

How do you usually spend a Friday night in Calgary? Before you answer that, think about the best possible scenario for your weekend agenda — a mix of exercising, partying, and a lot of socializing.

On  Friday, September 6 you can get the best of all three at the ULTRA Night Run, hosted by The Running Room and Michelob ULTRA. The illuminated, neon-lit course is returning to the city for one night of pavement-pounding action you won’t want to miss.

You don’t need to be a fitness fanatic to take part because you can choose between a 5 km or 10 km race (or walk, if that’s your jam) kicking off from Edworthy Park. There’s going to be live music to keep you motivated along the way while you take in mesmerizing night views of the Bow River.

It’s not often that fitness and fun come together in the ultimate night run experience, so why not round up your pals this one time?

When the exhilarating run is over, you’ll be able to head to the outdoor beer garden for celebrations, music performances, and a round of ice-cold Michelob ULTRA to keep the night going.

You can participate as a solo runner or in groups of two or more, and everyone must be of legal drinking age to sign up. Don’t forget to register ahead of time and get ready for a night in the city like no other.

Participating in this highly-anticipated Calgary event not only comes with amazing memories, but you’ll also receive an Energizer LED headlamp, a race tee, beer ticket, and even a post-race snack.

Missing out on this year’s ULTRA Night Run in Calgary will only result in FOMO. So what are you waiting for?  Register now via the official event website.
