T&T Supermarket is resuming temperature checks for customers on September 14

After temporarily suspending voluntary temperature checks for customers on June 9, T&T Supermarket has announced it will be resuming this pandemic precaution at all of its stores across Canada for anyone about to enter a location.

The popular Asian grocery store chain confirmed to Daily Hive that voluntary temperature checks will resume for both customers and employees on September 14.

The store paused this service for the summer season due to subsequent heat and the “inaccurately high” temperatures that might be detected in customers waiting in lines outside.
