Halloween is here, and there are tons of spooky and seasonal things to do in Calgary this weekend. From fall markets to frightening events, there is no shortage of fun to be had.

From terrifying haunted houses and funky pumpkins to cozy markets and electric hockey games, here are 11 excellent things to do in Calgary this weekend.

Calgary’s Farmers Market Halloween Spooktacular

What: Head on over to both Calgary Farmers Market locations to take part in a Halloween celebration with trick-or-treating at vendor booths, live Halloween-themed music, kids’ crafts, a colouring contest, and a pumpkin carving competition featuring local vendors.

What: While the event isn’t for a couple of weeks, early bird tickets are on sale now through Nov. 10, 2025! Join The District on Saturday, Nov. 29, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. for a magical family experience featuring a delicious family-friendly brunch buffet, a hot chocolate bar and chocolate fountain, Santa visits and photos, complimentary face painting and balloon artists, local market vendors, and festive family holiday workshops.
