Harry Potter-themed bar The Potion Room is open in Calgary

So we’re definitely used to the temporary Harry Potter-themed bars and crawls by now — they’ve been popping up across the country for a while now, although some have definitely been better than others.

For those in YYC that need a dose of magic on the regular, you’re in luck. Magical spot The Potion Room is open and ready for Muggles to come in, and get down wizard-style.

The 1211 9 Avenue SE Calgary spot offers “fine handcrafted potions and elixirs like no other” in an atmosphere decked out with Harry Potter-inspired decor.
